About Me

I am an Integrative Counsellor practicing online and in-person at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in Henley-on-Thames.

I have completed a BSc (Hons) Psychology and hold a Masters of Science in Integrative Counselling, I am an Accredited and Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP); meaning that I strictly adhere to their ethical guidelines, and am governed by their regulations- they are Accredited by the Department of Health.

I have years of experience in both the private and public sector, in the NHS within acute mental health and medical settings; such as the Maudsley and Kings College Hospital, as a clinical manager within employee assistance programmes, and for charities such as Place2Be, within schools, Kids Company, and at Universities.

My experience has led me, due to client’s needs, to complete further training in trauma work and deep relaxation techniques, including becoming an EMDR practitioner and an Autogenic Technique trainer.

EMDR (Part 1) part 2 to be completed in 2023.

In accordance with the requirements of my Accreditation I attend regular Clinical Supervision, I also adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework for good practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
